Menton, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

With its brightly colored houses overlooking the sea, Menton (or Menton) is a real postcard landscape. The promenade on the promenade offers a beautiful glance on the old town and its basilica, visible from the different interesting places of the city.

As for the beaches, you are spoiled for choice! Towards the promenade du Soleil, from the Casino de Menton to the Old Port (Vieux Port), there are several pebble (or pebble) beaches. Completely public, they are supervised during the summer season. For children it will be preferable to head to the sandy Sablettes beach.

The Rondelli beach (next to the garavan port) is also very pleasant, small and with a magnificent view of the old town.

But Menton is not only sea! The beautiful gardens are worth a visit (consider a day to visit them), such as the Jean-Cocteau museum or the old town. Numerous events throughout the year in the cultural, musical, sporting, nautical events or simply for family leisure, for example the Lemon festival (la fête du Citron), in February.
