Endurance 72
Designed for long-range navigation and thanks to the careful control of the entire production chain, the new Endurance 72 has been developed to offer comfort and elegance on board, ease of use and reliability over time. Excellent soundproofing, for example, results in quiet and peaceful night navigation.
HULL EFFICIENCY AND LOW FUEL CONSUMPTION
An in-depth analysis of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) resulted in a hull shape optimized for IPS propulsion, maneuverability, safety, comfort and reduced fuel consumption. IPS transmissions provide dynamic positioning capabilities for easy mooring and maneuvering on point, even with a small crew. The so-called "curved" hull, with a deadrise angle that is progressively reduced from bow to stern, guarantees hydrodynamic efficiency in gliding rough seas. The relatively advanced center of gravity, in combination with a keel line rising towards the stern, helps to reduce the amount of energy dissipated in wake in displacement mode, as well as the power required to overcome the "hump", the transition phase between displacement and glide modes.
The three engines available (2 x Volvo D13 IPS 1050 Standard, 1200 or 1350 as an option) can be easily installed in the engine compartment without any modification. In addition, the engine room is already prepared for the installation of a hybrid engine.
Endurance 72 introduces a new parameter: eco-speed; defined as the speed at which lower consumption is obtained as well as an optimal set-up for better comfort on board. This displacement set-up allows for better fuel efficiency. With the D13 1350 engines, the eco-speed speed is achieved around 12 knots. With a large 6000 litre fuel tank and 1350 engines, the Endurance 72 consumes 80 l/h with a range of 72 hours/900 Nm at 12 knots.
TWO DIFFERENT INTERNAL PROVISIONS
Endurance 72 offers the owner the choice between two different interior layout options: raised galley or lowered galley. The first option provides for a kitchen on the main deck with 4 cabins and 5 bathrooms below deck. The second layout includes a kitchen, 3 cabins and 4 bathrooms all positioned below deck in favor of a more spacious area of the main deck.
The standard layout includes a galley positioned aft on the main deck to easily serve outdoor spaces. In front of the kitchen, the dining area opens completely onto the terrace via a side door. In the bow, a large sofa with chaise longue and a smaller sofa make up the lounge/relaxation area for watching the flat-screen TV that also connects to the helm station with 270-degree visibility.
A staircase amidships leads to the daytime bathroom and the owner's and VIP suites for maximum privacy, while a staircase to the bow leads directly to the two cabins with private bathroom with twin beds.
Alternatively, the galley layout that introduces Country Kitchen is the real novelty born from the collaboration with BURDISSOCAPPONI Yachts & Design. This layout features a country kitchen with American-style breakfast table located below deck, with direct access to the crew area.
This particular arrangement removes the galley from the heart of the boat and transforms it into a service kitchen, providing additional space to the already large main deck and allowing the outfitting with freestanding furniture. The introduction of a country kitchen is a new concept, usually applied to larger yachts. In addition, the removal of the kitchen from the main deck allows the introduction of a portal to the left, which opens onto the outdoor terraces.
NEW INTERIOR DESIGN CONCEPT
For the interior design of the Endurance 72, Pardo Yachts relied on the extensive knowledge and expertise of BURDISSOCAPPONI Yachts & Design, thus sealing a new collaboration. Elegant gray walnut veneers with a matte finish, wallpapered bulkheads on the lower deck, technical fabrics for the ceilings, white Corian for the kitchen worktops and sand-colored resin in the bathrooms are some of the stylistic choices of the new designers.
The lighting design has also been revamped and improved. The introduction and combination of LEDs and spot lighting in ceilings provide more focused brightness where required. Finally, the matte black finishes of the bathroom accessories, door handles and lighting elements underline the yacht's sporty yet sophisticated character.
The first Endurance 72 will be launched in spring 2024.
