Sirena Superyachts 42M : the first model will begin to be built by the shipyard this autumn. Luca Vallebona was chosen to create the exteriors and layout, while the Italian studio Hot Lab, part of the Viken Group, was chosen to design the interior spaces.
The layout of the 42 meter Sirena Superyachts model can therefore be adapted to the needs of each potential owner, with options including the location of the owner's suite on the main or upper deck, which in turn allows for a dedicated dining area in the lounge or to create an area for guests at the bow, dedicated to refined dinners or pure relaxation.
Once the sliding door in the bow of the owner's cabin is opened, the interior and exterior have no real boundary. The treatment of the patio with elements such as the pergola, the swimming pool and the organically shaped staircase leading to the upper deck, ensures that this secluded, unexpected and bright place at the bow of the vessel becomes an integral part of the design of the interior space. The forward cabin thus extends its external space, creating a unique feature in today's semi-custom market.
The rest of the internal space of the main deck is characterized by the aft lounge, which continues outside, almost seamlessly, up to the aft swimming pool, located a couple of steps lower. The windows of the living room emphasize the connection with the outside and an attempt was made to reduce the number of lateral pillars to allow the view to sweep horizontally, parallel to the landscape.
The version with the extended living area offers two highly customizable areas. The first is the bow area, an intimate space that can serve as a games room, lounge or study. The bow part can also be designed as a comfortable and welcoming dining area. Once again, this solution is enhanced by the brightness and direct contact with the outside thanks to the patio it overlooks.
For the interiors, the Hot Lab team chose materials ranging from natural beech and oak to cotton and chenille for the sofas, up to metal - with a titanium effect - for the headboard panels. The result is a light and very desaturated color range, which is able to welcome and emphasize the sun's rays that flood every space.
The style combines Nordic design, essential and rigorous, with a more Mediterranean, soft and relaxed atmosphere. The interiors reflect the concept of the entire yacht: a dream home on the water that adapts to multiple needs, well-studied, rich but not opulent.
